I am a sports photographer out of the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. I started shooting photography in 2012. Shortly after I first picked up a camera, I went to a local baseball game and started talking to their photographer, he let me come out and photograph a game, and I was hooked on sports photography. The next season that photographer left the team so I took on a position as an intern photographer, and the next season I got the position of the team photographer for the Joliet Slammers. That internship opened the doors for me in sports photography. Now currently I shoot local sporting events for 22nd Century Media, as well as Shaw Media, and the Joliet Slammers. In 2017 I was awarded the National Newspaper Association first place for best feature photo in a non-daily publication with a circulation of 10,000 or more One day I hope to take my photography into the major events such as MLB, NHL, NBA, etc.
